Organic Beet Hummus

Enjoy this colorful and nutrient-rich hummus perfect for crackers or paired with raw farm-fresh veggies straight from the garden. A great fall treat for family gatherings or while watching the game with friends. Guilt-free and sure to be a crowd pleaser!


1 can (15 ounces) no salt added garbanzo beans/chickpeas. We encourage buying farm fresh dry beans and cooking ahead of time!

1/2 cup (3.5 ounces) cooked, sliced fresh beets

1/4 cup olive oil (can add slowly or as needed for consistency desired)

2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped

2 cloves of fresh garlic, sliced

1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)

Combine garbanzo beans/chickpeas, beets, olive oil, garlic and salt in a food processor or blender. Process two minutes, scraping down sides of processor with spatula periodically. If consistency is too thick for your preference, add in a little water or balsamic vinegar (splash). Continue to process until smooth.

Storage: Store in an airtight container and consume in 3-5 days.

Uses: Can use as a dip, topping on a salad or condiment in a sandwich!
